The college admission’s climate is continually changing and it’s not too early to receive information that can assist you in planning for your children’s college years. The information that we will present could help parents with 9th-11th grade students save thousands of dollars on the cost of college and the right time to receive this information is now. Some of what we will discuss includes: The rising cost of college outpaces the rising costs of living and health care. (The current cost of a state four-year college degree is now about $100,000!) High school guidance counselors are overwhelmed with a student-to-counselor ratio of 450+ – 1. They have a difficult time assisting seniors with college prep. We will share a few strategies that even six figure income families can use to become eligible for FREE money. We will share with you the graduation rates of several Texas state and private schools and discuss why that matters. College Planning Authority has been featured on KTVT-CBS 11, WFAA-ABC and FOX 4 NEWS (check out the segments on our website). We have also been called on for our expert advice by U.S. News and World Report, the Star-Telegram and WBAP. Preparing for the college years can be a monumental challenge and we encourage you to receive this information long before it’s too late to develop a sustainable college plan!
