KISD High School Mock Region

Keller Central Band Family,
On Tuesday, on November 18th, we will be hosting KISD’s High School Mock Auditions at Central High School. All Students will be participating in the audition. Non-auditioning students will have a meeting at 4pm for set up. Auditioning students will check in at 4:45 with the audition starting at 5:30pm and should end by 9:30pm that night. It is imperative to attend Mock Region if they plan on attending TMEA All-Region auditions for 9th Grade or Regular Region.
We want all students to have a raw score of a 4 or higher, from our KC Grading Rubric below, before they can attend Mock. Students can pass off during lunch.
Please remember that by attending Mock Region, a student will receive two points towards their letterman jacket at the end of the year. Students must be performing at an expectable level to attend.
Also, we will be updating all grades this week with their region scores. Please make sure students are attending pass-off/help times available to them.
Things to Know for Tuesday, Nov. 19th
- Dress correctly. Please be in casual dress.
- Have your own music and a working/clean instrument.
- Be on time. Check into audition room early.
- Behave correctly. Students are representing our school.
- Be prepared on your music!
